I moved to Holmes Chapel with my children in 2007 having previously worked in the village for a number of years. My children both attended nursery, primary and senior schools in Holmes Chapel before moving on to University.

I have had a long career in the pharmaceutical industry and finding myself with time to spare thought it was time to give something back to the community within which I live, and feel that my work and life experiences help me carrying out the role. I have specific expertise in developing strategy, enabling change and building teams to work to a common goal.

I have a particular interest in strategy and hope to work towards obtaining inward investment if that is available, to enhance the infrastructure, which is now so stretched, and to support activities which enhance the local environment.

As a councillor elected in 2019, I sit on the Strategy and Finance Committee as well as the Strategic Planning sub-committee. I am also involved in the support network established for those unable to leave home through the Covid-19 pandemic.
