Member of Holmes Chapel Parish Council
Steve Allott
I moved to the village in 2020 after falling in love with the area. Originally from York as a child, and spending my twenties in Manchester, it was time for a more relaxed pace of life. I live with my partner and my two French bulldogs (Mylo & Pablo).
I work in Financial Services, currently as Head of Change for a UK Bank and based predominantly at home. My day to day role looks to solve problems that face the organisation, and look to transform the way we do things for the benefit of our customers and the wider bank. This often involves transformation style projects, looking to leverage digital technologies.
I am also a co-owner of Holmes Sweet Home which has been open since May 2022. We’ve founded that on the principles of listening and adapting with local community needs, and being flexible with our offering. I’d like to help support our wider business community by being a voice for business within the Parish Council, which in turns benefits the wider community.
As a new Parish Councillor I am looking forward to serving the local residents and hoping to also improve the engagement amongst the younger generation within the village. I want to ensure that I represent the wishes right across the full village demographic, and I am looking forward to the opportunities this will bring.
