Continuing in the long tradition of generosity for Holmes Chapel, set by the late Mr Raymond Street, his wife, Margaret and son, Christopher are this year very generously funding the cost of the Christmas tree for Holmes Chapel.
We are already indebted to the Streets as every year they come with their lifting equipment and place the tree into position, and also use the lifting gear to assist with the decoration of the tree – this year Christopher has very kindly continued this long standing service established by his father.
A very big thank You from the Parish Council, on behalf of the residents of Holmes Chapel, for this generous gift to us this Christmas season from R.G & M. E. Street & Son, suppliers of sand and gravel.
